Established in Oct 2007 and formally approved by Hong Kong government, Boyuan Foundation was formally registered in Hong Kong as a NPO with individual legal entity qualification.

With the target of academic facilitation and policy research, Boyuan Foundation focuses on mid and long-term issues in Chinese macro-economy, society and international relationship. Boyuan Foundation promotes the communication across various academies as well as the dialogue among domestic and international academy industries, government authorities and commercial professionals through problem address, framework establishment and mutual agreement pursuance. Boyuan Foundation advocates innovative model and is willing to provide domestic and international insightful people with a platform to explore and study material subjects as well as funding support and other services.

Activities of the Foundation include: research subjects organization and support, annual forum, annual special topic lecture and monographs and papers publications. The Foundation mainly focuses on the subjects it participates while providing funds to external research institutes and individuals to support the subjects satisfying research direction of the Foundation.

Boyuan Foundation Board of Directors / Councilors is consisted by well-recognized people all over the world, including Qianxiao (Chairman of China Merchants Group), Hedi (VP of UBS Investment Bank), Jesse (Jianxi) Wang (VP of China Investment Co., Ltd.), Gao Xiqing (President of China Investment Co., Ltd.), Li Jiange (Deputy Director of Development Research Center of the State Council), Brent Scowcroft (Chairman of Scowcroft Group and US Former National Security Assistant), Leon Brittan (VP of UBS and ex-Vice Chairman of EU Commission), Rory Tapner (Chairman of UBS Asia) and Laura Cha (Member of HKSAR Administration Committee and Vice Chairman of CSRC International Advisory Commission).

Boyuan Foundation is willing to contribute with all levels of social people into social welfare, scientific research and social development.
